And with the massive success of this same tour in the States and Europe, I’m thrilled to be able to bring them to Canada!” Daniel Glick, Director of Concerts & Events for Evenko adds: “Fans spoke and we listened. We worked really hard with both bands to make this happen. They’ve been on our must-have list for a while now and announcing this tour is very exciting. We look forward to seeing Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach this fall in Canada”.

Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach actively involved the fans by giving them the opportunity to request the tour come to their city via a “demand campaign” housed at http://demand.fivefingerdeathpunch.com/ and http://demand.paparoach.com/
An overwhelming 60,000 Canadian fans responded to the call to action and made their voices heard.

Zoltan Bathory (guitar) of Five Finger Death Punch states: “We took this Demand Campaign everywhere. We had huge success with it in the USA, and in Europe it even won the “Arena Tour Of The Year” award… It’s not surprising in a way as it is inclusive of the fans – they vote and we are listening. What a concept, right? Nobody learns from talking, you learn from listening.”

“When we did this tour last year in the USA, it was truly the Best Tour Ever. We heard from so many of our Canadian fans that really wanted to see this show – so we’re bringing it to them. Really cannot be more excited to go back – even heading east of Quebec. This is one show you won’t wanna miss,” says Papa Roach vocalist, Jacoby Shaddix.

Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach previously co-headlined American and European arenas to great success last Fall and won the prestigious “Arena Tour Of The Year” award from the German Promoters Association.

Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth With Edwin

olp(Halifax, NS) – evenko and Live Nation present Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth with Edwin live in Halifax on Wednesday, November 2 at 7 p.m.

Two of Canada’s most beloved and best-selling bands, Our Lady Peace and I Mother Earth featuring Edwin, have announced a legendary cross-Canada tour, kicking off in Abbotsford, BC on Saturday, October 15 with special guests, The Standstills.

Having toured together in the mid-90’s for their breakthrough albums, Naveed (OLP) and Dig (IME), both bands are excited to reunite 20 years later to once again perform for their fans across the country.

“We’ve always had immense respect for IME,” commented Our Lady Peace frontman, Raine Maida. “From their very first album Dig, the tour that followed and the Edgefests after that they solidified themselves as a seminal CDN rock band. To share the stage again is exciting both for our common fans & selfishly for us as well.”

“We’re really excited to be going back out on the road with our friends in OLP,” added I Mother Earth drummer Christian Tanna. “This is something we discussed last year at a show we played together…that it felt `right’. Both bands have amazing fans that have been with us from the beginning. We actually toured together on our debut albums and have been friends ever since. When Edwin rejoined IME to do the Anniversary shows for Scenery and Fish we thought this would be a great way to do something fun for our fans, friends and actually…ourselves. I think I can speak for both bands and say that we can’t wait to get this started!”

Over their 25-year career, Our Lady Peace, consisting of Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts and Steve Mazur, has become one of Canada’s best-known, most beloved and best-selling bands. They’ve amassed 4 JUNO Awards, 4 CASBYs, 10 Much Music Video Awards. Their second album, Clumsy, sold more than a million units in Canada alone, qualifying it for the almost-impossible-to-attain Diamond Award, and the only alt-rock album in Canadian history ever to reach that level.

Brothers Christian and Jagori Tanna met vocalist Edwin in the early 90’s, spawning one of Canada’s most critically acclaimed bands. I Mother Earth ended an eight year hiatus in 2012 with two sold out shows at Toronto’s Sound Academy, and in 2016 announced the return of original vocalist Edwin, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band’s benchmark album Scenery and Fish. The album featured 4 Top 10 Hits in Canada including “Raspberry”, “Another Sunday”, “Used to be Alright”, and “One More Astronaut”.

Dean Brody – New Years Eve

deanLive in Moncton, December 31

Tickets on sale this Friday, July 15 at 10am!

(Moncton, NB) – Molson Canadian Centre at Casino New Brunswick presents New Years Eve 2017, featuring JUNO Award-winning Canadian country music star Dean Brody live in Moncton, December 31 at 9 p.m.

Two-time JUNO and nine-time CCMA Award winner Brody took home the win for the 2016 Country Album of the Year in April for his album, Gypsy Road and delivered one of the evening’s most memorable moments, an explosive performance of platinum single ‘Bring Down The House’.

Brody’s Gypsy Road, penned as his most winning and original collection of songs, features his rollicking, sun-drenched first single, ‘Upside Down’, which won a 2015 CCMA Award for CMT Video of the Year. The album has corralled his various – and highly varied – songwriting inspirations while fearlessly stretching himself as both a storyteller and a musician. And he did it … while playing the ukulele. Well, part of the time anyway.

“’Upside Down’ as well as the song ‘Monterey’ were written on a ukulele,” Brody offered, adding that the tenderhearted but scorching ‘Love Would Be Enough’ was sketched out on a banjo instead of his usual guitar. Banjo brings the twang elsewhere on the album, notably on the propulsive corker ‘Bring Down the House’.

Brody performs at festivals this summer, including this past weekend’s Cavendish Beach Festival in PEI and continues to support The Dean Brody Foundation. He will soon travel to Nashville where he will work alongside long-time producer and friend Matt Rovey to deliver his sixth studio album later this year.

Theory Of A Deadman live in Moncton on Saturday, November 19 at 8 pm

In the middle of 2013, the platinum-selling Canadian quartet, Theory Of A Deadman Began working on What Would Become ict fifth full-length album, Savages (Roadrunner Records / 604). HOWEVER, everything in Their Lives and Rapidly Unexpectedly changed. Whether it be a shakeup At Their label, waning interest in rock at radio, or the downturn of society at large, a myriad of issues Weighed heavy on members Tyler Connolly (Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar), David Brenner (Rhythm Guitar), Dean Back (Bass), and Joey Dandeneau (Drums). So, Connolly channeled it all into His songwriting.

Lyrically, Connolly turned His care to the state of the world around _him_ and churned out the band’s catchiest and MOST crushing statement yet.

The band’s first single “Drown” ebbs and flows entre a staggering wall of distortion and an infectious chorus from Connolly. The tide comes in with one of the group’s biggest anthems. The title track functions as the album’s clarion call, and it enlists a chilling spoken word and hypnotic harmony from none –other than the legendary Alice Cooper.

The album Does UPHOLD a tradition for Theory of a Deadman, Bringing Reviews another ballad to the fold, though it’s not a “breakup song” per se. This time, “Angel” swings from a bright guitar into a heavenly chorus about a different kind of love. At the time Sami, aussi They stomp into new territory Altogether With Their first-ever proper “country” track. For “Livin ‘My Life Like a Country Song”, the boys enlisted the guitar and vocal talents of Rascal Flatts’ Joe Don Rooney. As a result, They Collectively tell a rollicking and raucous little tale worthy of Nashville.

That songwriting prowess solidified Theory of a Deadman as a major contender in modern rock since Their self-titled 2002 debut. Most Recently, in 2011’s The Truth Is … landed in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart upon icts early, while topping the “Top Rock Albums”, “Top Alternative Albums” and “Top Hard Rock Albums” charts. In addition, it spawned the # 1 radio hit “Lowlife” qui Ruled Rock Radio for three weeks straight. Along the way, the group HAS Toured with everybody from Alter Bridge, Stone Sour, and Godsmack to Daughtry and Mötley Crüe . HOWEVER, Connolly and the guys always avez la même goal in mind.
