xam(Moncton, NB) – The Molson Canadian Centre at Casino New Brunswick presents
alternative-rock New York quartet, X Ambassadors live in Moncton on Friday, November 18 at 8 p.m.

Promoting their stomping, syncopated full-length debut album, VHS†, X Ambassadors’ KIDinaKORNER label mates, Imagine Dragons and Jamie N Commons appear
on VHS† (“Fear” and “Low Life,” and “Jungle,” respectively), but the most noticeable guests are the band members’ younger, more restless selves.

The X Ambassadors consist of four band members: Sam Harris (lead vocals, guitar, saxophone), Casey Harris (keyboard), Noah Feldshuh (guitar) and Adam Levin (drums). Sam Harris and Casey Harris are brothers, and have been friends with Feldshuh since kindergarten in Ithaca, NY.

The songs on VHS† are woven with a series of “interludes,” or bits of audio from the archives from their family video albums. “Moving Day” and “First Show” provide a cinematic narrative and pay homage to their love for hiphop. “I wanted the album to feel like a movie,” the band’s singer and guitarist Sam Harris said. Consequently, the songs on VHS are about movement, speed, and the determination to navigate away from heartbreak and the constraints of small-town status quo.
